I have 85,000 MR points, and we are taking a cruise booked with American Express this fall. If I use the points toward the cruise, they are worth .01 per point, just $850. If I just pay all cash for the cruise using amex card, I will have over 100,000 points. Is there a best value use for these points for maybe a business class seat to Europe next year?
