I flew JFK-CPH and return on DL last year. It wasn't an option you mentioned, but thought I'd throw it out there. They used 757s and, while the service was very lackluster, I'm sure it wasn't anything worse than what CO offers on that route. So, if you'd rather fly into JFK and not EWR, maybe that's an option (that is, unless they stopped flying that route)?
