CPH to NYC: Continental, SAS or British Airways?

Hi

I'm planning a trip to NYC in May together with some good friends and are not really sure which airline to use.

We'll be flying out of Copenhagen 3rd of May and leave NYC May 7th and I've found the following relevant options:

Continental Price 4.044.-/person (Direct Flight)
From Copenhagen to Newark on CO123 (Boing 757-200)
From Newark to Copenhagen on CO122 (Boing 757-200)

SAS - Price DKK 5.449,- /person (Direct Flight)
From Copenhagen to Newark on SK909 (Airbus 330-300)
From Newark to Copenhagen on SK910 (Airbus 330-300)

BA - Price DKK 3.876,- /person (Via London)
From London to Newark BA0189 (Boeing 777 jet). It would also be possible to fly London-JFK on BA0113 (Boing 747 jet)

From JFK to London BA0116 (Boing 747 jet). It would also be possible to fly Newark-London on BA0186 (Boeing 777 jet).

All flights would be in economy class.

It is also possible to fly with Lufthansa via Frankfurt, Swiss via Zurich and Air Canada via Toronto but I've decided only to focus on the 3 listed above.

I would really appreciate your comments on which airline you recommend us to use. Obviously I would like to make use of the cheapest one but I'm not sure if sitting on a Continental 575 for almost 9 hours is very pleasant - Especially not if it has to go down to refuel on the way.

Thanks a lot for any feedback you can give - It's highly appreciated.
