To subject at hand, I think that 6rugrats speaks for most of us, and that is certainly my point of view. Let me try to recreate what I wrote yesterday:

You and Cebu Pacific agreed to abide by contract of carriage - unfortunately for you, there is no provision for your circumstance. And I'd like to point out that (most certainly) no other airline would have refunded a non-refundable ticket. They may have elected to issue credit toward another purchase (very likely for a fee), but no refund.

And as you found out, Cebu Pacific's lack of customer care is legendary. From not being able to use foreign credit cards to book online to cancelled flights with no good option to rebook. Just search this forum, and you'll see several threads, not to mention other boards.
