I read your post and I appreciate your comments. However, CDG is the absolute worst airport out of the major skyteam hubs in Europe to connect through. There is just no comparing CDG to the likes of AMS and even BCN (Although not a skyteam hub, I connected through there and a dream compared to CDG).

CDG = remote stand parking most of the time. Requires a bus to get to the terminal. Then, A LOT of walking, followed by long security lines. Even with N1, lines can be long. Then, more walking followed by another bus to get to your connecting terminal.

AMS = park at gate, walk no more then 10 - 15 minutes to your next gate. Go through gate side security and whammmm!!

CDG is horrendous, even on a good day.

However, I will afford you this little bit on info. My last two flight on AF have been absolutely amazing. Just completed LAX - PPT. Great, great service and food all around. Makes me wish CDG wasn't such a disaster. I'd be looking to fly AF a lot more.
