Fine, then let's stick to ongoing recurrent training on identifying weapons and following SOP. Subjecting TSA employees to foreign policy briefings does nothing to address how a firearm passed through the checkpoint and onto an aircraft last week in DFW, and something that was thought to be an IED passed through the checkpoint in LAX this week. First things first.
I can't argue with doing the recurrent training and getting the basics down.
I do think that if the brief has some connection to how things can be taken through a checkpoint in a concealed manner or artfully concealed manner, getting those briefings are a good thing.
