Booked a ticket ORD-TLV. Alitalia was not cheap but w child discount and 15% ecoupon that was posted here and I used it went down to 1350. Not bad for the summer and I believe it will be as good as it gets in todays oil prices in August.

However they mentioned there it is 764, is it 767-400 for ORD-FCO-ORD ? I thought AZ had only 767-300 ? Is it leased ?

How are they as far as comfort ? I am assuming no personal screen in Y. Will have to live with it, since I did not want to pay extra money for US, CO, LY or BA.

Also took the earlier morning flight to TLV. I land at 8:10 from Chicago and depart at 9:20. Last year took the noon flight, but I remember being airside 5 minutes from the gate to TLV at 8:40, in spite of a very long line in transit security, the line cleared pretty quickly. Hopefully I did the right thing, but worst case there are another 2 flights that day.

Anyway it was not too bad last year in AZ as far as service. Found the crew quite friendly and hospitable. Very approachable. That is what matters at these days and makes a difference especially travelling with kids.
