I've been lurking for a while and this is my first post~!

I'll be travelling from PEK to TPE on CA in March then connecting on JL onto NRT the same day. Does anyone here know that:

1) Would CA internline the baggage for me onto my JL flight at PEK?

2) I assume that CA won't be able to issue my JL bp at PEK, is there a JL transfer desk available at TPE or which airline handles this for them?

3) OLCI or advance seat selection seems to be unavailable on this route, so any tips on how to score a good seat? (in Y)
