Are the fires still burning in Sacramento, I guess you get it all the time too, but whilst the floods did hurt a lot of the Thailand farmers and country folk, as a business person flying in and out each week, I never saw any water. I did go to the river a few times and I looked out of the planes' window, so I knew there was a flood "up north". Out past the old airport, if you know that part, this was badly hit, but some parts you had to wade through, whilst others were hardly touched. In central Bangkok, as a reminder of what could have been, you can still see bundles of sand bags.
