I'm on a Transcon flight right now. There's 2x FAM onboard here in F and its so obvious. Two guys in F have not taken off the suit coats all flight and one of them has small US Marshal star as a lapel pin. Seriously you stick out like a sore thumb.
Chances are they were not Fams. Fams have not had to dress that way for several years now. It took a long time of arguing by the agents to get their management to understand that requiring them to dress that way was not a good idea for obvious reasons.
To the others that have posted, just to be correct, it is Marshal with one L not two
