I had an amazing experience yesterday. Flew AA 142 JFK-LHR and the plane was almost entirely empty. there were 11 FAs and I'd wager not more than 20 pax- 2 in 1st, 10 or so in biz and the rest in economy. I had the only emergency exit seat and there were five empty rows of seats next to me. I hope this isn't a portent of the airline's financial viability!
