Frst of all, the fee was not $65 when I got the card. I have had it for many years so they changed the terns, by raising the fee. I have happily paid the fee for many years and I did not refuse to pay, nor did I threaten to cancel the card. I simply asked if they could lower the fee for me. They were very nice and said they couldn't do anything with the fee but they could give me a credit or points. I took the points.
Sorry you think this is imimoral or unethical. We have to agree to disagree as I think your view is ridiculous as well.
