Its still uncertain to me whether it really was Hilton's intention for there to be a new discounted award category targeted at Diamonds or whether the appearance of these awards several days ago was just some sort of IT-related anomaly.
Maybe the rooms that appeared the other day got booked up and the inventory has since changed (in the past few days) as it often does from day to day.
Many of the advance purchase roomrates are gone as well. My guess it they sold out of those offers.
