Emptiest flight we ever had was on an MD-80 MCO-ORD. It was the last flight of the day and had something like a three or four hour delay. What was supposed to be a 7:30 pm flight took off closer to midnight. Four people in first and eight in coach. Once the door was closed, the head FA invited all the people in coach to move up to first. One of the people in first was clearly pissed about this. The FA pointed out that there were three FAs for twelve people and we were all going to get incredible service.

Emptiest flight in first was also an MD-80 MCO-ORD, last flight of the day. First had three people, myself, Mrs. Horseguy, and our daughter. We heard several people complaining about not being able to get an upgrade and were upset when they saw all the empty seats. Coach looked completely full to me. Maybe there was a catering issue? Anyway, talk about great service, one FA for the three of us.
