They actually found my luggage without any tags attached to it whatsoever, so the person who called me was not employed by BA (they did not know that my luggage was supposed to be transported by BA).
The advice they gave me was to basically to fill the form at LAX, and she suspected that BA would be able to route the luggage all the way to LIH. However, as she was not employed by BA, I think it would be better to be safe than sorry
I'll go and ask the guest services here at the lounge if they have any suggestions on how to proceed.
