Clearly I caught those TAs on a bad day... or the rules may have changed (it was a few years ago, i.e. 'recently' by my standards, might not be recent by someone else's ). But equally I remember some of the fallout from 9/11 was VERY strict rules on times to show up pre-depart and security queues were massive!

Anyway, I like to relax in the AC so happily show up 2 hrs ahead. Gives me time to eat too, if I was rushing to get to LHR (which is a long way from home).
