I don't expect to be treated like china as you said. I am going to the Oberoi because they are some of the finest properties in the world. There are all kinds of places to stay so if you don't want to be at an Oberoi, don't go. As for getting sick, I don't feel like having even 1 day of TD and I don't think anyone would so your suggestion of staying home if I don't want to be sick for 1 or 2 days is not a good one.
