Should be okay as long as you don't have any connections on Frontier; friend of mine had a few grand worth of tools stolen by their baggage handlers. TSA even had video of the luggage going through their check with the tools being taken out and put back in, then the bag re-locked yet Frontier wouldn't allow a claim.
