The problem with the 757 aircraft is that DL will frequently substitue one configuration for another. When that happens, that great seat you had in row 18 no longer exists, and you may end up reassigned to some middle seat in the back.
I would go for an exit row (rows 26-27) as those seats exist in most of the domestic 757s that DL flies.
I don't if everyone else notices this but whenever I sit exit row on the 75's the bottom seat cushions seem to be thinner and hard as a brick. By the time I reach ATL from SFO I'm almost wishing I gave up the legroom for a cushier ride.
Bring a pillow to sit on!
