The GC thing is still an issue, apparently. I split up my multi-city reservation yesterday into one multi-city + a one way--paid for the multi-city with 3 AA e-giftcards + $30 worth of Costco giftcard that I bought the same morning. That reservation went to Unknown, but it shows as Purchased on the detailed reservation page.

I paid for the one way entirely on the remaining value of the Costco giftcard, and that went to ticketed immediately.

Hopefully it resolves itself. I don't want to call, because I scored a $100 cheaper fare by cutting off the return leg and booking it as a one way vs booking the whole thing on one itinerary!
