Actually the easiest thing to provide for on a plane would be 115V but at 400Hz.
I already know and agree with everything you have said. KLM does have power in some economy class, but it's not turned on unless needed.

I agree that it would be the easiest to provide 110 V ac (nominally). And yes, I know it;'s 400 Hz.
