Just noticed this thread when it popped up to the top of the forum.

I spent 18 nights in this location in 2011. What the reviews mentioned about sort of a tired look to the rooms is right on the money. All of my nights were in the hi-rise tower this year. I don't notice much noise from traffic there.

I have stayed in the 2 story wings before, which is where you have a balcony, or a patio that looks out over the pool. You are more likely to hear noise if folks are outside in the area.

As a Gold member, the front desk has always been very friendly at check in, but I don't recall getting breakfast coupons or access to the Exec floor or lounge. The WiFI/wired internet access has worked well.(unlike the near by Marriott Townhill Suites)

There is a Asian tour group that usually has about 2 large motor coaches worth of folks staying at the hotel when ever I have been there (Su-Fr) I see these folks in the lobby sometimes but I have not run into service issues as I don't usually check in, or eat at the same times as the group.

I walk over to the Sushi place next door for Happy Hour and dinner, and there's a Starbucks across the street that I hit for coffee and a banana on the way into work in the morning. I have also walked over to, around, or inside the mall that's 2 blocks away for exercise in the evening. In the shopping center across the street there are a number of ethnic places for eating, including a Korean BBQ that I am quite fond of.
