Before travel be sure to check a country's admission requirements - they may require two or more empty visa pages ( and I have several visas that take up one entire page, with visa stamps on one more,) and they may require your passport be valid for six months beyond your intended dates of stay. We may think these are idiotic restrictions, but there they are. Fulfill the requirements or be prepared for anything from a hassle to being barred or put on the next aircraft out.

There are many idiotic and stupid things we go through - take your shoes off! - including the WTMD in Egypt that was not plugged in, the full containment suited "aliens" crew with thermal imaging "guns" who "zapped" us before we were even allowed off the aircraft in Shanghai, etc. It's minor crap we endure to travel, learn and enjoy.
