I can just hope to be lucky the with an upgrade.
I was offered an LFBU upgrade on my last flight in November ORD-BRU and then it was at a kiosk by the gate when I transferred from MSP.
It was 40 minutes before the flight.

Let's hope there's no ExPLAT like Bostonoski on my flight so I can be lucky here
