They still have be of the lowest AIFs in the country, just look at YYZ, YEG, YYC and YMM.
Airports are expensive to build and maintain, they need revenue fom somewhere as they have no support from gov't.
YVR is one of the better managed airports in the country, hence why thy have kept their fees lower Han most others.
Agreed.
And given the improvements YVR is, has, and will be conducting in the future, I don't mind paying a bit more for a better airport (A/B Pier):
