Just speccing up a flight from LHR-LAS in WT+, lots of options via AA apart from the direct BA flight.

I'm seeing £585 one way LHR-LAS on BA, which looks like it would earn 95 TP in WT+, but also the option (for £586), of LHR-JFK in WT+ (BA) with JFK-LAS in AA domestic economy.

Presumably the option is spending the whole way in BA WT+ for 95 tier points, or spending nearly half the journey in AA economy for 130 total.

Thus, this would mean for the return, 190 vs 260 tier points, which might be useful, albeit giving in to two 6 hour trips in an AA economy seat, which would clearly be very different to a 747 WT+.

So, the AA option is madness, right...?
