Is it 4 hours before the flight they start to offer the LFBU upgrades at the kiosks?

My flight LHR-BOS is 9.55AM so I could check for an upgrade 5.55AM even if it's way to early for me I think...
That's my current 'home' airport and my current regularish route... but I don't remember seeing anything for LFBUs on the kiosk.

It's odd having the self-serve kiosks b/c it just slows people down so they aren't piled up in a queue. You then have a TSA-ish grilling and then meet a counter agent anyway, who you can then ask about seat assignments etc.

BUT the AAngels in the AC are good, so they're who you really want to deal with. Worth a $50 day pass, or better the $99 month pass which is VAT-free!

YMMV but my experience has been getting upgraded by being super nice to everyone espec the GAs at T3... I have been randomly upgraded many times on that flight. But I am chatty, kind, smiley and friendly... and genuine. You do catch more bees with honey, though it's my nature to be nice.
