Me three. At what point will baggage fees become "common knowledge" anyway? I thought they already were. The media advertisements that WN run make it very clear that all the other guys charge bag fees. It's been all over the news over the last few years that they've been introduced. And word of mouth, of course, is very powerful.
Using the same argument that they should publish the bag fees with the fare, should they also publish the meal and alcoholic beverage prices? Should they include the added charges you pay for a "good" coach seat instead of a "free" middle one in the rear? Where would it end?
Advertising the base fare + taxes as the bottom line you pay is plenty and I applaud it. I remember when the fare advertised in the newspaper WAS the fare you paid (before the internet, and before those pesky passenger facility charges).
