As an aside, you say you switched from JFK to EWR after ticketing? It used to be that co-terminals were considered separate cities for award ticket changes (though standby from/to the alternate was allowed). If this has changed so it's now allowed, that's nice to know.
There was no fee associated with it. I was originally booked to and from JFK, but after looking at the bus schedules to get there, I realized it would not be possible. Called up and asked to switch to EWR, and they did it no problem. Once that was changed, I didnt keep the email that had the time to/from EWR. I'm going to call in a little bit to see if they can still access it to see how far off the times are.
