If you are checking bags, be aware that UA has a 45 minute recheck requirement at SFO. We missed our ICN-SFO-IAD 1 1/2 hour connection last week because it took more than 45 minutes for the bags to come up at SFO. If it is less that 45 minutes to your departure they will refuse to recheck your bags and force you to miss your connection.
