I am about to remove the DBML from my profile for many of the reasons others have in this thread about VLML. As an example, on the DBML you are given a roll made out of reconstituted cardboard, when the wholemeal rolls given out with normal meals are perfectly suitable for a DBML (and may even be more so as I frankly have never worked out what's in the cardboard rolls). The same with the vegetable spread, re butter. Butter is perhaps not perfect for a DB, but what a real nutritionist is after is getting the fat levels down and I can't see any real difference between the butter and vegetable spreads in that respect. The vege-spread isn't even fat-reduced.
As far as the meals are concerned they're nearly always salmon or chicken and extraordinarily bland. Sometimes when the meals are catered remotely, someone will have a bit of imagination and come up with something a bit original, but the catering out of LHR is really dull and unimaginative.
I have occasionally (nicely) asked the FAs if I could give up on the SPML and if it looks really unappetising and they have spares, they usually offer me something else.
