I have been waiting a long time for this place to open. The dramatic beauty of the building is of course fabulous. Even the public areas are very nice. My problem is with the sleeping rooms. I was in the Barlow wing. It is a shame because I frequently use both Eurostar and Kings X to get to N. Yorks.

I am a Hilton Diamond member, not unhappy with Hilton but wishing to become a Marriott Platinum member to displace Hilton because I need Marriott points to stay at the Marriott Nashville/Vanderbilt where my granddaughter is a freshman.

The room at St. Pancras is clean but it is very common in appearance and furnishings. In my opinion the Paddington Hilton and the Hilton Park Lane are superior in every way. Considering the price of the St. Pancras, my room qualifies for my definition of a "rip-off" and I will never stay there again.
