When moderators are mocking an OP who is new to the board, I am concerned. I doubt this would happen in the Frontier forum (and I know it would not happen in the Amex forum).
If the Frontier and Amex forums go out of their way to accommodate every first-time poster who drops a load and vanishes without further comment, that's a good reason to avoid those two forums.
