Sits in both places. PEK/SHA/HKG/and in the US. These flights are too long to use 1 aircraft back and forth. 2 planes fly in opposite directions at the same time (well, they overlap.) The ones the US can be routed for other things if the demand is there, or they can do maint work...etc
