All straightened out. They wrote the issue up for customer care to review as they are saying its a glitch where auto upgrade was not processed when the upgrade was re-requested
Hmm I should call Cust Care- had similar issue today- Friend and I were on DL issued tix and I called and had AS add my friend and I to the Upgrade List. When I got to the gate I was at the top of the list, but my friend was nowhere to be seen. I think this messed up the UG on the outbound as I was UG'd (via link) but was not an option for my friend and he wasn't on the WL in ANC... (alaskaair.com did show both reservations waitlisted).
