Looking at the picture...all the way in the back you can see Y seats are still the same. I was assuming since CX will be having new long haul economy, they would also do it on the 77D's as well. You would think since they plan to replace all the shell seats in Y anyway. Might as well just start now.
I think the first new Y seats will be seen on the 77G and 77H configurations. I dont know if they will be factory new, or retrofit aircraft. Its true, they are going to have their entire 77A/77D fleet to re-retrofit for the Y product in just a few months. I guess, they havent finalized or ordered the new Y seats yet, so cant install them. I mean they havent even shown pictures of them yet! At the same time, the urge to replace the J is huge, so they press on anyway I guess.
