Pshaw. Mica... Leahy... others have sputtered and spewed, none have actually gotten anything done about TSA. Pistole hasn't even bothered to show up for at least one Senate hearing
that he was subpoenaed for and legally required to attend, yet they did nothing about it.

It peeves me more than I can express that so many people still think that the main issue, the most important issue, even a major issue in all of this, is dignity.
Dignity and an empty sack is worth the sack. But Constitutional rights and freedoms are more valuable than gold-pressed latinum - and they must be treasured and protected at all costs, dignity be damned.
All of these TSA transgressions are
violations of travelers' rights. Dignity is transitory; we all lose it sometime, whether it's worshiping the porcelain god after too many mimosas or having to be fed baby food by our grandchildren in our golden years, but Constitutional rights and freedoms are supposed to be inviolate.
TSA is violating the rights of millions of people, with impunity, on a daily basis, and the only thing that seems to upset most Americans is when they think that TSA is violating the dignity of an elderly person or comes a little too close to their children's genitalia.

Yup. Yet I have lost count of the times that someone has said something to the effect that "there is no right to ____ because the Constitution doesn't say you have a right to it."
