Does anyone have any great restaurants that they have been to? I am basically afraid to eat anything but would love to try some great places outside of the hotels. Is it safe to eat the chicken or fish? Also thanks to everyone that replied about the hotels, I cancelled all of the Lake Taj and am sticking to the Oberoi in Udaipur.
One more thing to ask, I think I read in one of the posts here or another site that 80 percent of the country has no sewage system and people just go to the bathroom wherever? I was in Bali at the Four Seasons Hotel in Jimbaran Bay and the first thing we saw when we were on the beach was someone going to the bathroom in the water and that was ranked the number 1 hotel in the world for several years even with the airport within view and having to hear the airplanes all day and finally moved to the FS Sayan.
