The other airlines have Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer on loan from Santa to help guide them?
Could be that other airlines had a different risk model and decided the risk was low enough that the cost of rerouting wasn't justified. I kind of like Delta's erring on the side of safety rather than running flights and closely monitoring for any issues.
