How often do upgrades run? I was upgraded at my 75K window. I called today to add a friend to the upgrade list as a companion. They had to put me back in Y, link the itin and add us to the upgrade list.

It shows First Class waitlisted and according to EF, It still lists u=7 on both flights. Does it run a few times a day. Do i have to wait for 72 hours out before it runs again? I would assume that since U has not dropped even after my upgrades went through that I would be #1 on the upgrade list?
