Finally got in touch with AA Customer Relation. Was pretty much useless. Being forwarded to this guy I won't mention the name that will handle the involuntary denied boarding. She also said only security can remove the lock and that I committed a felony (whatever) if my account is locked. This guy that would handle the involuntary stuff would be the one to look at compensation.
After the call, I call the security analyst and I'm able to talk to him. No felony committed, my account is under investigation and I should not have been denied boarding or refrained from flying AA and he will investigate personally why this happened and will call the airport too. He was very polite and I'm cooperating fully with them on their investigation. I provided additional information on the mileage redemption.
I have asked that my account be brought current and that be compensated reasonably. According to him, he has rebooked me for tonight but my account is still locked.
Again. I still stand on no wrong doing or breaking any violations of the Advantage Program. I hope they admit to wrong doing of denying my trip last night and that they broke the contract and will compensate me.
If someone at AA told you you have committed a felony, I would contact my lawyer immediately and have nothing further to do with the AA people. That's an extremely serious allegation (and, if communicated to third parties, defamation
per se). I suspect a single phone-call by your lawyer, followed by a letter, will clear everything up and then some.
