Many thanks for all your thoughts and inputs. I partly agree with some of you that it is quite a waste of miles to spend them on an intra-european C award. However, I have no status and check-in (was in AYT last year and had to queue for 90 minutes to Y-ci!) and transfering (in MUC or IST) with two toddlers in Y is really a bad option from my perspective. I will try to book a LX/TK award and then let the fly smart option open.
