Obviously a serious lack of sense of humour on here by you techy airline junkies. But then again it is a known fact that the English do have a much better sense of humour than the Americans. (Devils advocote rule book section 5 )
Flying Ryanair sould be on everyones list of things to do, not only does it keep you fit, it opens your eyes to how much you can improve the bottom line on your P&L account.I love to watch the bun fight when they open the traps, whilst they are all pushing and shoving to get on at the front I usually walk straight to the back steps and find a row for myself.
I own my business 100% and as far as I am concerned the money I have saved using Ryanair has paid for a lot of nice thngs for my family.
I would guess a lot of you junkies dont actually pay out of your own pockets for your travel and that makes a difference.
I do feel that Easyjet and Ryanair have really opened air travel to millions of people who only ever saw it as a rich persons way of getting from A to B, and to me thats good.
Unfortunately we are still seeing airlines such as KLM and BA who have people that have worked there for many years still and a feeling that they are something special. I cannot stand staff who look down there nose at you when you ask where the business lounge is and make an assumption because you are not wearing expensive clothes and therefore cannot possile be a card holder. What they forget is that casual dressers like me pay the salary.
Anyway having re-worked the maths I still think that amount of time in the air is a serious peice of your life gone. One of my new year resoloutions is to cut back to an absolute minimum the number of flights I will take next year, you can fly all you like when you get to heaven. Do you need to be a million miler to get to heaven ???
Lighten up and see the funnny side of what I wrote
