Nonstop US gateways to ICN: SFO (OZ,UA,SQ),LAX (OZ),SEA (OZ),ORD (OZ),JFK (OZ)
or you can try via NRT.

ICN-HKG are easy to come by as long as it is not during the OZ blackout dates.

HKG return to US, I have better luck route to BKK then through NRT or Europe if you are looking for premium class cabin. ICN-SFO seems to be good also.
