This is not a bad place at all.
The morons down on the ground floor can't give directions to save their lives, but just go out the other way (Queen Street Mall), and you'll get anywhere you need to go straight away (there is a great tourist info place in the middle and the staff there are tremendously helpful with directions). It is a short walk from the Central train station as well.
I did both the breakfast options (was there three mornings), and found the downstairs to be waaaaayyyyy better. The lounge on 25 is small, but comfortable and the staff there are very helpful all the time.
Interesting note, though, I managed to get the manager to approve me to order an 'all-nite' breakfast from the room service menu (had a flight at 5 am), and to treat it as my, 'complimentary' breakfast. Feel free to try to get the same deal if you have a copy of your itinerary handy.
I began my quest for this 'special' treatment in the lounge on 25, by the way, and I even had him hand-write and sign a note so I could present it to the front desk when I checked out (of course, the night clerks had NO knowledge of it - kind of what I figured would happen).
Overall, nice place. Renovations are going along nicely.
