How TSA checkpoint friendly are the "checkpoint friendly" computer bags?
I'm considering getting a "checkpoint friendly" bag for my laptop computer. Right now, i have my eye on the Travel Pro Crew 8 bag. But I wonder how friendly are these in actual use? If I take it to the airport and TSA makes me take the laptop out of the bag and put it in a tray anyway, the whole thing is a bust. The idea is to have one less thing to screw with at the check point.
What is the TSA reaction to these things? In the past, TSA guys have told me I don't need to take a laptop out of a sleeve. So, maybe they are gonna be OK with this style bag? I really don't know. If it matters, most of my concern is at DFW and CVG.
Also, any specific comments about the TravelPro bag would be appreciated. I've never seen it in person. I don't even really know how easy it is to operate. I'm open to other suggestions too, but really don't want to spend over $150.
