Yes, the last few days have been cold and crisp, but clear and with good air. And the lack of traffic is marvelous. I was out last night at friend's house gobbling jiaozi, and at 10 pm, managed to get an empty taxi from her place back to mine! Good fireworks show in both her area (Sanyuanqiao) and mine (Dongzhimenwai). I was surprised by how things quieted down by about 1 am so was able to get a few hours of quality sleep. Which is good since I am actually working today (and all this week). Will try to fit in a temple fair visit in a couple of days.
