Global Entry members who are not members of NEXUS can use NEXUS lanes when entering the United States (all passengers in the vehicle must also be Trusted Travelers and present their GE/NEXUS/SENTRI/FAST cards). Only NEXUS members can use the NEXUS lanes when entering Canada.

But do the US-based NEXUS Enrollment Centers do the iris scans? They are required in order to use the airport kiosks to enter Canada.

(Note that some Canadian airports now feature both NEXUS and GE kiosks in the US Preclearance areas, so GE-only trusted travelers can enjoy expedited processing. And frankly, GE is easier than NEXUS because GE does not require a paper customs declaration.)
