I've done the reverse! going from aisles to windows... so that I can 'control' the shades!! got too tired of all the threads on here about window passengers saying they will keep the shades open, regardless, and despite passengers trying to watch inflight entertainment. they always finished their posts with 'if you don't like it, book a window'... so I now do!
