You could have found out the fare code and checked this before puchase.

When Vayama gives you a list of available flights, look at the line underneath your flight choice. It will have a section that says "Fare Details". Click on that and it pulls this up (for the dummy booking I did):


Flight LH 1649
Departure City: Gdansk Arrival City: Munich
Passenger: Adult Airline: LH Fare Basis Code: KNCZPLW

Before you purchase in the future, call the airline and see if you are puchasing a fare that may be changed.
